Help how to reset admin password on D9104BG DVR?

Help How to reset to factory default D9104BG DVR? Somebody put admin password on my DVR i already tried to remove the battery it just reset the time. TIA

the supplier only send the manual, i tried the password from the manual 0800808 but still not working. any idea or trick how to reset admin password kindly share.thanks in advance.

The only way i have ever been able to get into a DVR when i did not know the password was to call the manufacture and give them the serial number off the recorder. Some manufacture have a program that runs on the back of the software that has a rolling code that changes everyday. They can give you the code of the day.

 

I am a dealer and have direct tech support from the manufacture so you might not get any help as a consumer. it does not make for a very safe system if there is a easy back door into programming.

@ Rockvilleash1976 our dealer wont allow us to directly talk to the manufacturer, they only sent the PDF manual but its not the exact model, i ask the dealer to ask the manufacturer if there's any way or trick to reset the password still i have no word from them. i am been trying also other DVR brand procedure so far none of them worked.

As you'll see, there's nothing listed in the download section. The least they can do is post a manual. The only downloads they seem to have is remote viewing software under the Technical Services tab. I hope you have success contacting them and resolving your issue.

yes your right i already visited their website.its not raysharp that my dealer get this DVR. i suspected JRSE but their website are all camera.

@ groovyman and Rockvilleash1976 thanks for the replies. i already solve the problem by trying 098765 as password, upon investigation somebody hacked our network all our devices got changed all user and password even the IT admin privilege also changed by the hacker who was traced his IP address residing at India and we are located here at Philippines.

I already unlocked the DVR i put a password and i tried this one and it worked, now i know the universal password i will not share this to my dealer since

they not really helpful to their clients.lol

Hi, i need some help reseting a dvr password, i tried all default passwords 000000 123456 999999 etc etc i removed the battery and used a clip and all that kind of stuffs and still nothing, mine only say (gad vision) in the front panel its a 8 ch dvr, can anyone help me?

if you have forgot admin password of your cctv dvr the simplest way to reset a cctv dvr to factory settings is to press and hold the ENTER button on the dvr for 15 to 30 sec and then the dvr will restart and restore itself back to factory setting. what the video on how to do by following the link below.
