dan_lay 0 Posted July 1, 2012 Hi All, I currently have a Kodicom 16 channel system (2x 8 channel PCI cards) running on a P4 PC. The CCTV system is quite important and I would like to update it. Also the Kodicom software isn’t supported by Windows 7 clients, so another reason to upgrade. 'Say Security' offer Diginet software 5.3 but they charge over £100 for it so would rather invest in a new setup. I've been looking around at some of the PCI-E cards on ebay such as this one: [http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16CH-H-264-Full-D1-Recording-480FPS-Video-Audio-Hybrid-DVR-Card-PCI-Express-/271006162344?pt=UK_Computing_Computer_Components_Graphics_Video_TV_Cards_TW&hash=item3f1939dda8] Does anyone have any experience of the above or know of a good PCI-E card, perhaps with some feedback on its software? The Kodicom cards are quite good at 200fps so would like to keep atleast this rate. Looking around there appears to be all kinds of odd an unusual software out there, some possibly with bad translations. Any advice would be much appreciated.
