crow 0 Posted July 2, 2012 hi when i put my wan ip address into my web browser it opens my routers login page and idea's i can log onto the dvr localy its a qvis dvr ive done a few succesfully now ive assinged the dvr an ip address on the lan port forwarded the correct ports and checked with canyouseeme.org im also using no-ip.com as the ip isnt static for a free dns acount any idea's Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

crow 0 Posted July 2, 2012 hi its was from the lan but i have done this many times and it worked without coming up with the router login screen if i put the iphone software on the iphone with the dns acount name it wont work from the wireless lan and i dont want to change the ip and dns name everytime i go out cheers Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
shockwave199 0 Posted July 2, 2012 You need to use your no-ip host address when viewing remotely. If all is setup properly in the router, you'll be fine- including the proper port for your phone. Don't forget- your address should include the port number, such as mycams.noip.tv;89 The 89 for example, is the port associated with the dvr. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
crow 0 Posted July 2, 2012 hi mate everything works (wan) away from the lan its just whilst at the lan on the ipod touch and iphone mainly when using the host name whilst conected wirelessly to the lan it wont work but will work away from the lan but on other routers its ok at the lan with the host name i have set up home and away on the idmss software on ipod for now cheers Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
