TechnicalTony 0 Posted July 4, 2012 So the other day I'm sitting at home, pondering the days events and I remember a customer asking me about remote controlling a PTZ via joystick. (It was that or spend time with the wife ) Now obviously you can use a Dahua net keyboard but there's no built in screen on those (discounting the one I saw at IFSEC but that things so much of a nightmare to setup it's unbelievable). What I'm wondering is if theres a way to use a standard PC joystick to control the PTZ function. Not seeing anything in the PSS menu itself but I can't help but hope it's a possibility. Maybe by tweaking the ini files? Anyone else ever encountered this, or even have any hints on a good place to start? Using PSS 4.05 with an ADATA mini PTZ direct into one of their iApollo's for testing. (I'll update if I get any joy)
ssnapier 0 Posted July 4, 2012 I know that Mobotix Control Center claims the ability to use any standard USB joystick or gamepad but I have never tested it.
