dpyoun02 0 Posted October 6, 2005 I'm having problems changing the password for the WaveBrowser part of my StoreSafe. I don't mind if anyone can access the live feed page, because they still need a password to see anything, but they can access the settings page with the default (admin,admin) account. IP/index.ssi I can't find how to change this anywhere in the manual, although it says to change it ASAP, without telling me how. Maybe it's something glaringly obvious, but I would appreciate whatever help anyone can offer. - Dan Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SeanMort 0 Posted October 6, 2005 It should be under the "Configure" link of the IP/index.ssi page. If you forget the username/password there is a manuf. access code to reset. Rory, I'd be happy to give you these codes directly if don't have 'em. For the WrSecurity.mdb file too, as it's a protected Access file but some people like to modify to suit, such as putting in a flag for Level 3 users to tell who is connected. dpyoun02 0 Posted October 6, 2005 Like an idiot, I found it just after I posted. The problem I was having before is that I think I entered an invalid character in the password. I wasn't able to access any of the .ssi pages, so I had to manually reset the machine. I have a password now that's working, so maybe some special characters break it?
