Live audio from IPtech IPD-16zd DVR

Hi,

 

I have installed a 16 channel DVR - IPD-16ZD. I have also installed DVR mics and connected the same to audio input on the DVR. Ihave connected speakers to amy audio output jack but i do noy get live sound from the DVR. The only time i can get sound is when i do a backup and play the file. Can anybody please help me on this?
