nmartinezjr 0 Posted July 27, 2012 Hi, I wanted to see if anyone could help me out on this. I'm going to be replacing my old NUBIX 16 DVR that went out on me 2-3 weeks ago. I was wondering what yall guys would recommend me buying. I need a 16 channel DVR and would like to be able to record at D1 resolution or better, Android compatible and maybe be able to add 1 or 2 Megapixel camera in the future if possible. If not possible then I will settle with a regular 16 channel DVR. I need the DVR for a grocery store environment, something realiable since my old Nubix lasted about 4-5 years. Also what do yall think about Digital Watchdog or Dedicated Micros DVRs are they decent equipment or could I find better for less $$$? I would like to thank you in advance for your help. Soundy 1 Posted July 27, 2012 You need a hybrid if you want to add MP cameras. That's going to drive the price up a fair bit over JUST an analog DVR. You can get into a Dahua 16 analog + 16 IP hybrid for under $1000.
