Six9siX-Joe 0 Posted July 30, 2012 In the post above is how to turn off/on audio warnings. I have DS-7204HVIST/SE & DS-7208HVIST/SE On first boot (camera/vga monitor connected no HDD ) I have the same annoying beep Both of them take a few seconds to boot up and start recording. When I have a faulty HDD it takes time (about a minute) to boot up but no recording at all. Try to connect vga or bnc monitor/tv for the first time.

Dave1525 0 Posted December 28, 2015 Hi. I found the easiest and quickest way was left click in live view, to bring up the 'Quick Setting Tool Bar'. First icon Enable Manual Record - All Channels, this should stop the Event/Alarm icon being displayed, and most importantly stop the BEEPING. Then configure the channels to suit your own requirements. Only had the DS-7216HGHI-SH for a short time so am still investigating the numerous settings, the beeping was sending me over the edge.
