rory 0 Posted December 11, 2005 2 brand new cables ..
Jasper 0 Posted December 11, 2005 Did you try doing a continuity check on all the pins passing through the cables? Is there another cable you can try? If the cables are good you have some other issue that I haven’t run across, yet. I don’t know what is going on?
rory 0 Posted December 11, 2005 they werent the most expensive ones .. which type did you use ?? also, the system i tried it on is using RG6 Almuninum braid .. I had 2 cables, as its 16 camera card, tested only 1 of them, cameras 1 and 6 came on, the rest were off. No conection problems, and cable was right out of the box. Jasper 0 Posted December 11, 2005 (edited) Not near where I am at now. I went from Big City life to out in the country. I could buy that stuff anywhere when I was in the Bay Area, but not anymore. I have a Radio Shack nearby, but they have hardly anything because there is no demand for it in the country. Big difference when it comes to high tech items. I miss my Fry’s Electronics. Jasper 0 Posted December 11, 2005 I was going to post a couple of pictures of the one I went to, but can’t find it among the thousands of photos I have taken. Have some pictures of the outside with their humongous parking lot, which is always full from the time they open to the time they close. Took my camera in their one day and took some photos of the inside too. It’s is a high tech persons dream place. Rory, you would definitely appreciate a Fry’s. I really do miss that place. Online with them is nowhere the same as actually being in one of their places. They always have the cutting edge products. Many were made right there where I lived.
