ferguson 0 Posted August 2, 2012 Am installing a 4 camera night vision cctv kit at my home, and am wondering what type of cable would be best to buy for this? One of the cameras needs a 50 meter (164 feet) cable from the dvr unit and the other around 70 meters (196 feet). the cameras are 12v and i am hoping to power them from the dvr unit as there is no power near the cameras, so was thinking on RG59 18/2 shotgun cable! So i am wondering would this be the right choice and be able to run the 12v power and video signal that distance? Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
