Jasper 0 Posted October 13, 2005 I have had a delay in receiving a camera I ordered and I want to run some tests recording some video on this new GeoVision 1240 card I have. I was wondering if I hooked up a DVD or VCR with Video RCA cable with a BNC adapter to the card if this would allow me to capture the video with the GeoVison card? Would this video input look like a camera input to the GeoVison Card?

scottj 0 Posted October 13, 2005 yep it will work. Won't be NBC quality broadcast, but will work fine. We pumped Bruce Almighty through an online demo with audio included for about a month. If I see Jim Carrey anytime soon I may vomit. Scottj

Jasper 0 Posted October 14, 2005 Yep, It's working fine. I've got a DVD playing OutBreak and recording the audio as camera 1 and am using a wireless Remington camera I had laying around for the camera 2. Had to walk away from it though because I started watching the movie
