Multiple mics on one channel?

I have the kgaurd sha104. You can see its specs here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881377020 I noticed it only has one audio channel. Would it be possible, with the use of a splitter, to use multiple mics on it? Also, if you could point me to a good online store for surveillance mics I'd appreciate it.

Hi. its not as easy with just a splitter. the kgaurd will only record and play back on 1 channel so putting mics away from that channel will give you no video.

 

if say all mics are to be used in the same camera area then yes multi mics can be used but you will need a mic box (activates each mic with the most volume) sound activation. but your looking at $6 to $900 then your mics.

 

its cheaper to replace dvr with more inputs.
