shravank30 0 Posted August 21, 2012 Hi We are a residential complex in Bangalore India spread over 5 acres and having about 500 meters boundary wall We wish to place 16 CCTV Cameras in the vulnerable areas to monitor activities espacially at night As the security gate where the feed will be monitored is at an extreme end, the data feeds may have to travel nearly 250m also. We have been advised to use CP-BY70M-E cameras with 5-50 lens He has also suggested the following equipment along with the cameras He has suggested to bunch the feeds from 4 cameras to a single cable using the following equipments setup so that ultimately only 4 cables will reach the DVR/ Viewing screen so that quality of the picture does not degrade even after travelling long distance of 250m 4 Channel passive PVD,AC24V power transfer, AC100V~AC240V input, DC12V output PvLink PV-3204PH DC/AC 8 Channel passive PVD,AC24V power transfer,AC100V~ AC240V input, DC12V output PvLink PV-3208PHDC/ AC 1000M 16 Channel DSA receiver; Data transfe PvLink PV-2216RQDSA 1 Channel passive video transceiver with DC12V CCTV Analog Cameras & Connectivity 6 transceiver, power transfer Pvlink PV-208A/E 4 pair UTP cable (roll of 305 meter) AMPS CAT 6 16 Channels 1U Standlone DVR 16 channel entry level 1U standalone DVR, Up to 16 cameras with XGA(1280×1024) display, H.264 video compression algorithm ideal, Each channel 25/30fps at CIF or 6/7fps at D1 recording, Dual encoding streams supported, TV(BNC)/VGA synchronous video output, Supports 1 SATA HDD, 2 USB2.0 16 channel simultaneous playback CP Plus CP-1604HL-U As this is a community project, I hope the experienced members will give their valuable advice on the feasibility & the choice of the equipment or alternative suggestions Thanks for advising
jamejo 0 Posted August 25, 2012 Hello shravank30, From what i see, the Camera and DVR recommended to you is CP-Plus (They are exceptionally good, in terms of quality and product stability). I personally use CP Plus for all deployments here in Mumbai.. its Cost effective too. Next comes the products you listed, which will be used to deploy the whole setup. They all seem fairly good in terms of what the vendor has recommended to you. Also considering the distance between camera and DVR. Can you also share the Price quoted to you? for each product. Regards, James.
tomcctv 190 Posted December 8, 2012 Hi Shravan, Just 16 cameras and 5 acres spread and 500 m boundary, IP cameras would be the best fit nad you should go for megapixel resolutions to cover larger areas. With analog cameras and the distance involved the image quality may be severely affected, hence, IP cameras would be the best choice. Check with Synaxia Technologies(www.synaxia.net) for a solution. Before you fill with spam get your own house in order first TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR 1.3mp Model - SX-N1280R/WVFD What is it analog or ip............you can't even get that right
