vs604 0 Posted August 25, 2012 Hey, My dad owns a store, and he has the Eyemax dvr system setup for surveillance. Recently he asked me to allow for remote viewing from our home, which worked just fine. But it would be easier if we could view it on our iPad/iPhone. I understand that I have to upgrade to version 5.5.0.0 or higher. But I don't know what the update process entails. Am I going to basically lose all of my current settings and recorded video? Is it more of a new installation that an update? The reason I ask is because if it is like a start over, brand new installation type of update, then I'll be more hesitant to update in fear of screwing something up.
