bashful 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Hi, I have a card GV800(S) that I installed on "DELL OptiPlex 755" (Intel Q35 chipset, 2GB RAM, CPU E7200, HDD Hitachi 1TB, Video ATI Radeon x1300, Windows 7 Pro). I used version 8.5 of the software. There 2 analog cameras connected to this system. The problem is that every 4-5 days the machine crashes with Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) with following message: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL caused by address: GV800S.sys+76c2 crash address: ntoskrnl.exe+774d5 stack address 1: GV800S.sys+5405 or (when paging file of the Windows is disabled) KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED caused by address: GV800S.sys+a197 crash address: GV800S.sys+a197 stack address 1: ntoskrnl.exe+37593 I have the same card that works perfect (45 days without restart), connected to one very old computer (Chipset Intel i845PE, RAM 1024 MB, CPU Pentium 4). I would like to ask if someone had similar problem and how he handled it? I already change the RAM, Video and HDD, update the BIOS and all drivers but the situation is the same. Also I tried with Windows XP - no change. I use version 8.5 of the software, but also I tried 8.4 and 8.5 - same result. Somebody advices me to disable paging file of the Windows. As a result instead on each 4th day, the machine crashes on each 5th. Please share with me some opinion with such a problem if you have. Thank you
matjaz 0 Posted August 28, 2012 pfrom youre log problem is driver of this CCTV card or his driver. Look for other (newer or older) driver for youre CCTV card. Do you have bios settings on default ? Is some kind of S1-S4 energy saving enabled in bios? This can cause problems of this kind too, if driver is poorly writen. Try to disable all energy saving functions in bios AND in windows. bashful 0 Posted September 7, 2012 It failed again in the same way: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED caused by address: GV800S.sys+a197 crash address: GV800S.sys+a197 stack address 1: ntoskrnl.exe+37593 Also I tried with 3th PC: HP dc7700p CMT - Core2Duo E6400/2.13Ghz/1066 FSB/2MB | Intel Q965 chipset | 2GB DDR2 | HDD 250 GB | PCI-E slot The result is absolutely the same. The strange is that when I use the old PC (Chipset Intel i845PE, RAM 1024 MB, CPU Pentium 4) with the same DVR card there isn't any problem. Are there anything related to Core2Duo processors that can cause such a problem?
