2. the java aplet only works on one of my computers but its not live at all just a still picture refresh it and it changes how do i fix this?

3. the ftp seems to work but i keep getting images like this

It could be the FTP is not completing. For example you are doing them too frequently and the camera or network speed can't keep up so it starts an FTP but before it completes another request to FTP comes in and disrupts the first one.

Given the poor image quality and the complexity of what you are trying to do, is it worth it?

the quality is ok it's just the camera is not focused properly and i put low quality settings on to see if maybe they where too big and too frequent but i still get glitches like that also the image is compressed so it would not lag out peoples computer and/or be too slow at browsing

Looks like Bosch sells/used to sell Videojet gear, so that may give a lead. The software is called Vidos, apparently, so you might try searching on videojet vidos or bosch vidos.

I'd consider buying an inexpensive encoder or capture card before spending too much time on it, but sometimes solving the problem is half the fun.

it looks like you would have to pay for vidos i would think about it but what if it's incompatible money lost?

why is the no free trial to see if my videojet is compatible?

i am not wasting any money on bosch software if it is not compatible

the bosch video client is not so i doubt vidos is ether

Yeah, it looks proprietary. You might be able to pull some stream links out of the web properties, or from the java applet, but it's pretty ancient in IP encoder years.

Here's a link with some Videojet stream URL info, but it may not apply to your unit:

http://stna.resource.bosch.com/documents/Configuration_Note_enUS_1552198923.pdf

Try googling things like vcs videojet stream url, or vcs videojet download.
