Toaster 0 Posted September 1, 2012 Just curious, is it possible to use an indoor dome camera OUTSIDE, like say on a porch or under a eave or awning.. It wouldn't get wet, but would be exposed to the elements... I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but figured I'd ask anyway.

centralalarms 0 Posted September 2, 2012 The moisture will get in and ruin your camera. There isn't a huge price difference between indoor and outdoor cameras. Are you shipping for something that's $30? then I can understand. Spend the money (65 or more) and get yourself at least a small bullet camera with 1/4" sony ccd. look around these places: amazon.com 123-cctv.com 247securitycameras.com supercircutis.com
