Dahua NVR and NAS

what NAS should I use for Dahua's NVR?

 

Is there any specific NAS like Onvif capable NAS required to be compatible with the NVR?

 

So far I have tested but to no avail I could not set up the NAS recording with Dahua DVR.

 

IP is as per the NAS's IP

 

User and pass is as per the NAS's as well

 

Port wise, does this matter since I the NAS is on local network as the NVR

 

Remote path, I am not sure if this is the correct format \\19x.xxx.xx.xx\NVR

 

Anyone here successfully set up the NAS for Dahua's NVR?

Shouldn't matter what brand as long as it supports ftp. Shawn has a nice pdf on how to setup NAS on his site using a PC (for testing), once you get that working you can try a NAS.
