nealxb2003 0 Posted September 12, 2012 I attempted to upgrade the software on my h8118UV DVR tonight from the files on their website at this link: http://kb.zmodo.com/category.php?id=33 The upgrade appeared to install successfully, however, after the DVR rebooted and came back online, every camera pane showed a black screen instead of an actual image. I reset all defaults and it's still doing the same thing. Was this the wrong software package? Any ideas? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mestre 0 Posted September 12, 2012 forget about zmodo. u like me get what we pay for! no firmaware upgrades ever no matter what zmodo u buy. i was 1:30 hour just waiting for the costumer suport to pick up and i was caller #4 live support chat room never works, they kick u out a few minutes after u login i have a dvr h9106uvd (the stiker on the dvr says h9216-r) i can see on my network, on my phone, but not over the internet from another computer. i know my dvr is the same as a qsee, but i just dont know what model from qsee and if is any firmware available from qsee that will work with zmodo. so to every one stay away from zmodo.
