ptr727 0 Posted September 13, 2012 Hi, I am looking for advice installing Axis P3367-VE and P3384-VE under the soffit of a house I'm building. The soffit is tung and groove redwood, and a main feature of the view. I am mounting the cameras on the corners, but I don't want them to stick out, especially since they are so bulky. As far as I can tell there are no recessed mounting options for outdoor P33 series cameras. What I was thinking of doing is to cut a circle out of the soffit material, and create a recessed mounting area, just large enough to reach the screws of the mount, and just deep enough to have the dome stick out.
