I dont know Kodicom, but normally with other DVRs you just set a seperate internal IP for each DVR, change the port in the DVRs so that they are different, then port forward to each DVR in the routers applications and servers section.

The center software will only allow for one port address. Changing the port in the center software requires a reboot of the computer. With that in mind you can connect 1 server with the center software and one with the web server. The new center software will allow up to 32 cams but you must connect to multiple servers and they have to have the same ports open, so they will have to be in back of different routers with different ip's.

this is sound interesting,. so far i have connecting 2 remote site with 2 cameras each. i am using the center software to connect the 2 site, i can view 4 cameras in total now, but the retails shop is still in expending they cctv system very soon, i will going to connect more than 20 site, this add up to about 40 cameras in total.

now concern....is the kodicom center software able to connect all the 20 site remote dvr? and will it able to view more than 40 cameras in one Monitor screen?

big concern.....

anyone here experinece before to use the CENTER software to connect more than 20 remotr dvr system? with more than 32 cameras? or it is limited to only 16 cameras ?

Problem ! have to solve to make practical retail shop remote surveillance.

thanks
