BNC, Power and control over the same RJ45 cable?

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I have seen these passive balun adapters.

Use this adapters only one wire (and shield)?

I have a Everfocus EQ1600 CCTV camera.

This is the backpanel:

This the Pin assignments:

Can 6 control pins (1 seems unused) and BNC transmitted via RJ45?

Are there ready BNC/RJ45-Balun, with connections for the unused wires?

I could solder (internaly glued a piece from a prototype PCB) a terminal block on the backside of the camera, and connect internally to the pins of the connector bottom left.

Then I could connect the terminal block to the BNC Balun.

This special plug ( HR10A-7P-6S ) is rare and expensive (you know a cheap source?).

A terminal block would be a stopgap solution.....

Exist (external isolated) "1-pin connectors"?

Then I could plug in each wire on each single pin (~0.5mm).

What are the name for a slim plug for a single contact pin?

Thanks
