I may buy this 8 ch Dahua dh-DVR0804HF-U-E from empire security. Its listed on ebay for $799.

Hi. which cameras are you using. this is a limited hybrid........... if you use 8 x 1.3mp cameras you can only record in D1 which is a waste of the true cameras resolution

 

if your no using MP cameras then have a look at a standard DVR its much cheaper

So far I have 1 camera, and I am looking to expand. I currently have a 700TVL Sony Enhanced Effio-E / Sony EXVIEW II / 24IR LED Bullet CCTV / 3.6mm.
