CPD507 Can't View DVR Backup Files

Hi all,

 

We have a CPD507 16 channel DVR from CPCam. I'm having an issue where we can't view the backup DVR files. To reproduce:

 

In Video Server E, do a network backup, click start. A DVR file is created. It prompts to play the file or exit. If you click Play, it will delete the file, replace it with a VSE file, and play in Video Player just fine. However, once you close this program and try to view it again (by opening the VSE) it won't play (black screen/ 0 duration).

 

If you instead choose to exit instead of play, it leaves the DVR file. Trying to play this DVR file results in the same problem (black screen/0duration in Video Player).
