David4Star 0 Posted October 1, 2012 Hello everyone, Let me start off by saying I have about zero experience in this area, but I can make it work. I am the IT admin at work, and I just had the general manager call me into a meeting wanting me to put together a Surveillance system for him. We are in manufacturing and have a large warehouse and some office space. I think(Yes, this was the great information I got, aka almost none>_<) we are looking at a max of 16 cameras, and I would say a budget of $5,000. Basically they want a system that has good resolution, night/day(In theory night is when we would mostly need it from what I understood), He would like motion sensor capability so he doesn't have to sit through a whole days worth of recording to try to find a little 30 minute segment or whatnot. He also wants us to buy all the equipment and setup/install it ourselves. I think we would try to hardware them in cat5, but bonus support to IOS and wifi is good also. I Really hope you guys can help me and I appreciate it very much. Thanks, Dave
