Jetview PTZ Keyboard Communication Problems

I bought 2 JE-900 27x zoom cameras off ebay some time ago I have just installed them and the cameras work OK. When I power them up they go to their preset home position and focus but I cannot get the keyboard to communicate with them. The RS485 is connected and the polarity is correct the keyboard takes commands but there is no communication, the Camera and keyboard are factory set to Pelco-D and 2400 baud rate. Has anyone had experience with this system.

hi. how many cameras do you have (ptz) as well as baud rate and protcol you also need to give your camera an address number.

 

if you just have one. try pressing 01 on keyboard and then see if you have control

Thanks for the reply. There are 2 cameras but for now I have disconnected 1 of them till I can get it working, I have tried pressing 01 then cam and the display under camera dose go to cam 001 but still no control. I know it must be somthing silly but it has got me.
