DVR NETWORK COMM PROBLEM HELPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!

hey guys any network gurus out there?

 

i have 2 dahua DVR1604HF-A i need to open 2 ports but the problem is on the 2WIRE router my client has it will not detect the dvr's how can i fix this problem?!

Detect the DVR? What do you mean? You should have assigned a static IP to the DVR and then set the ports in the firewall section.

I have local access to the dvr... I can view it if I'm on the network... But I can't get 2wire router to see it when I need to port forward the dvr...

if i use a router connected to the 2wire router will it help? helPpppp!

Can't get the 2 wire to see it...lol.... did you enable port forwarding on the 2wire? Did you open a hole in the firewall of the 2 wire?

hi. some 2 wire will only see the mac addess. look under attached devices and unplug each dvr to find its mac. then give each dvr a rule and then i.e dvr1 then direct dvr1 to a port.
