rotorhead22 0 Posted October 15, 2012 Hello,this is my first time posting here and I am glad to find this forum. I was given a KTL 4104 DVR (with manual) and three Silent Witness SWC20 cameras. There is a hard drive in the DVR, but I am not sure what is on it. How do you remove files from these units? Also, I have tested the cameras and they all work. My next question is installing a power source for all three. I have two computer desk top power supply units that I recycled for 12v bench top testers, but will this be too much for these cameras? Can I run all three cameras on one power supply? How far (in feet) can I run a power line for. Sorry for so many basic questions. I used the search mode but could not find any related posts. cableguy101 0 Posted October 23, 2012 Check your dvr setup menu for options labeled Initialize or Format this will erase everything on the discs. Your power supply should be fine but I try not to run power further than 300' using 18 gauge wire.
