legacyvbc 0 Posted October 21, 2012 More specifically I want to set up a CCTV system for 4 volleyball courts. The cameras will be permanently mounted to a wall and fed to a DVR. I will keep about 2 weeks of footage archived. Here is what I am trying to figure out... What is the best video quality and fps I can expect to get on my archived footage. What I would like to be able to do is simply put in a usb drive after my practices so that I can review them at home. Someone said that the best I can expect to get is 7 fps which is virtually useless for my purposes. Is what I am looking for possible? What DVR or card can do this over 4 feeds. Is HD possible as I usually cut up the video and provide it to the players to review technique. Thanks
yakky 0 Posted October 21, 2012 There are CCTV systems that do 30fps, probably more, but why a CCTV system? I'd use some Go-Pros or ContourHDs, they are cheaper and image quality will be much better.
