Western Digital Red 2TB drives, anyone using these yet?

Looking at picking up a couple more drives for my Dahua DVR and was looking at the Western Digital Red 2TB drive, Mfr Part Number: WD20EFRX. Anyone have real world experience with these in a DVRs? Any feedback, positive or negative? Thanks.

Have you considered their AV-GP series? They are meant for use in DVRs specifically.

Yeah I looked at those Green Western Digital AV drives but saw a few online negative comments such as this: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27782

 

So that's why I'm looking into the Red Western Digital drives.

That one seemed to center around a windows 7 machine. Interesting though.
