:?: Reseting 16 Ch 36566V DVR

Hello Guys

 

I got this dvr second handed in a local auction , i thought is gonna be easy to search and find a way to reset the password , but i am stuck with it , could u help me to reset the password , i believe it's from a company named higheasy ( i saw the name in page source of web client login form ) , and here is it's picture

 

 

Please do you know a way to reset the password

I did put every default password that i can find from every device but no use and removed the board battery for 12 hours

 

Also password is numeric with max 6 characters length

Have you popped the top and looked for a reset button or jumper inside yet?

Usually the AN-TONE DVRs have a Jumper on the PCB Board front panel side.

 

When the DVR is ON, short the jumper for 10 sec.

 

Reboot the DVR and you have the Original User / passwords (Admin / 888888)

* Note. on Admin user A should be capital.

I have the same problem and the same DVR. I can´t find the jumper that D&C_ELECTRONICS mentioned, I can onlly see 1 jumpper close to the 2032 battery. Please if you could help me out with this issue

 

Please note de the 2 red circules, the closer to the jumper is a reset button, the other no idea what it is for,

Any ideas?????

I have just acquired one of these after upgrading a Clients DVR to a later model,

I am also having problems with the Admin Password,

I have tried all the usual passwords, I've even tried logging in using Internet Explorer and Telnet even and all with no success.

I can get into the user Account using the Machine itself and through Internet Explore but not Telnet.

I've even downloaded some Password utilities and they have been no help either.

Their are two presets on the board, One is marked as S1 and the other is SW1.

SW1 doesn't seem to do anything and S1 reboots the machine, I've tried taking the CMOS battery out and then pressed and held S1 for about a minute or so while the machine is on but still no joy.

I don't know if anyone else here has had any joy with theirs but if you have then any help or info would be much appreciated.

I have similar problem as above ... with same screen shots and Ckt boards but I think the model I have is UV-L6566V (unique vision?) 16ch DVR.

 

Please help me reset my dvr to default. I can not access the admin menu. Thank you.

and reset itself.
