Otech 0 Posted November 9, 2012 Hello Everyone Ok so I'm new to this whole dvr cctv stuff and I need some help picking a good dvr. I did some research so I know I should stick with something capable of D1 resolution and if possible 30 fps. I have looked at so many different brands but there is not alot of reviews out there on these types of system. I am building my system piece by piece and looking to get a 8 channel system. This is for home use and I intended to only have about 4 cameras max but want to give myself wiggle room if need be. Remote viewing smartphone/ internet is a must. I've seen what looks to be some chepo brands but im not sure if they r good or not eg. Qsee, Zmodo, Swann.?? One dvr that looks promising is COP-USA DVRHRT8MD is this any good? I'm willing to spend up to $800 on the dvr alone. Any Help, advice info will be greatly appreciated.
yakky 0 Posted November 9, 2012 Most here favor the Dahua brand, its rebadged in the US to many diferent brands. The hard part is finding a seller that will give you support after the sale. There was a good seller that advertised here but that relationship went sour and now you are off finding someone on your own.
