JayTh 0 Posted November 13, 2012 Hello, Have a used Symdec 16 +4 that will not boot up. It get to "system loading" then stops. Cannot do anything after that. My guess is the at the firmware is corrupted. Video can be seen on the screen but you cannot get to any menu to make changes. The ethernet is alive since it trys to send multicast messages but I don't have the IP address of the unit to even try to get in via the ethernet. It does not respond to a ping on the default IP address of 192.168.1.82 Any ideas as to what can be done to get this working? Thanks, Jay Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
shper 0 Posted January 21, 2013 Hi, try to disconnect all hard drives . I have same problems with many device of this model, when hard drive i broken dvr wont boot . In my case it stopped at 55% or 65% . good luck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
