kagz100 0 Posted November 22, 2012 Hello i have installed a couple of vivotek FD8162 dome cameras and after accessing night images i found the IR reflect back on the perspex resulting to poor video , is there a work around this
vector18 1 Posted November 22, 2012 The IR's could be bouncing off the wall and reflecting back into the camera. Or, you have the camera tilted too much in the dome where the IR is covered by the housing and the light is inside the dome itself.
the toss 0 Posted November 22, 2012 There should be a rubber seal around the lens which contacts the perspex dome to prevent this happening
joseph.chen0312 0 Posted December 11, 2012 Hello I think it maybe is flare or IR bounce to sensor for where installed to closed wall or substance. You could offer some picture at day time for us view reall ambience.
