dexterash 0 Posted May 17, 2013 I didn't state that DDWRT could be the problem (heck, it's way too stable and widely used). I wanted a log of the FTP server (and I do remember ddwrt only writes a general log, not a per-service log) Bug can be, but discovering the way the camera tries to upload and what the FTP server answers could help. Yes, but the log shows nothing related to ftp, just the regular messages: May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: vpn modules : vpn modules successfully unloaded May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_pptp successfully loaded May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_pptp successfully loaded May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: dnsmasq : dnsmasq daemon successfully stopped May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: telnetd : telnet daemon successfully stopped May 16 23:16:29 gw syslog: dropbear : ssh daemon successfully stopped May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: vpn modules : vpn modules successfully unloaded May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_pptp successfully loaded May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_pptp successfully loaded May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: klogd : kernel log daemon successfully stopped May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: ttraff : traffic counter daemon successfully started May 16 23:16:30 gw syslog: ttraff: data collection started May 16 23:16:31 gw syslog: syslogd : syslog daemon successfully stopped May 16 23:16:31 gw syslog: dnsmasq : dnsmasq daemon successfully started May 16 23:16:31 gw syslog: syslogd : syslog daemon successfully stopped May 16 23:16:31 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:31 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:31 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_pptp successfully loaded May 16 23:16:31 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_pptp successfully loaded May 16 23:16:32 gw syslog: vpn modules : vpn modules successfully unloaded May 16 23:16:32 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:32 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_proto_gre successfully loaded May 16 23:16:32 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_conntrack_pptp successfully loaded May 16 23:16:32 gw syslog: vpn modules : nf_nat_pptp successfully loaded When I log into the FTP server, it doesn't show anything. But you can be sure it's not related at all to this. The camera creates the folder (with the serial number) and the DVRWorkDirectory file. It just needs to create the rest of the folders and record the files with the motion.

MaxDecim 0 Posted June 6, 2013 I find it extremely frustrating that Dahua does not publish the latest firmware for their cameras. I bought 4 IPC-HFW2100 bullet cameras and two of them have the latest firmware, but two of them dont. The ones with the latest firmware all can view the feeds from any web browser after downloading the plugin. The two with the old firmware cannot. Why cant they just publish their firmware? Does anyone have a link or can they PM me the latest firmware for this camera? I would be greatly appreciative. I am in the US so I would need the NTSC version. MaxDecim 0 Posted June 6, 2013 Max I'll send it to you. PM me your email, Kevin, thank you so much, I have PM'd you. I tried asking the seller from whom I purchased the cameras from but they wanted me to ship the cameras back to them to update the firmware. I asked them to email it to me, or give me a link to download but they said they cannot do that.
blake 0 Posted June 6, 2013 Well they suck!!! What if you where on a job site. They would seriously want you to waste time shipping cams back when you can just update them on site.
jdowning 0 Posted June 7, 2013 Hi there guys I was wondering if anyone had firmware for IPC-HF3500. I'm having major problems with it changing resolution constantly. I would be so grateful if someone could provide it to me. Many thanks Jack
MaxIcon 0 Posted June 7, 2013 The latest version of the Dahua firmware claims to support a wider range of cams, including the 3500. You can find the PAL version by googling the firmware name, but the NTSC version is MIA: General_IPC-HX3(2)XXX&SDXXXX_Eng_P_V2.210.0000.0.R.20130313 No idea about the original source, so use caution. Here's the oh-so-useful readme file that comes with it - thanks, Dahua! Hello MaxIcon - many many thanks for posting this! If you were me, would you download this from that site? Would you trust it? I don't want to brick the camera
MaxIcon 0 Posted June 8, 2013 I was going to install it on mine, before I realized it was for PAL. Dunno if it would have bricked the camera, as PAL and NTSC really shouldn't have any effect on IP cams except for frame rate. I found the same file in 2 different places on European websites, without the goofy readme.txt, and with a slightly different name - General_IPC-HX3(2)XXX_Eng_P_V2.210.0000.0.R.20130313 (missing the SDXXXX in the name) - and they both compare exactly to that file when extracted to the .bin. So, if it's not legit, it's part of a grand European conspiracy to send out bogus Dahua downloads! I've sent you a pm with the other file locations. Dahua. What the heck are they thinking? paalj 0 Posted June 15, 2013 Hi, I have a IPC HFW 2100 With the firmware 2.210.0000.0.R, build : 2013-03-13 It would have been great to be able to use the ftp function. The older firmwares does not work correctly in IE so I have to wait for a new Version. There seems to be at least one that is named: Software Version 2.210.0001.0.R, build : 2013-05-17 WEB Version 3.2.1.105704 Has anyone tried this Version on ftp recording? Could anyone share it With me? I need the PAL Version. best regards, Paal
snairb 0 Posted June 18, 2013 I noticed on the ONVIF website that Dahua recertified IPC-HFW3200S camera and it notes a new firmware version 2.103.General 00.0.R, build: 2013-05-24(V4.1.1) . I've asked my reseller repeatedly for this and I am not getting any response. Has anyone else heard about this new firmware? My issue that I'm hoping this will fix is that I will get Motion Detection on my IPCorder NVR. Thanks.
strat 0 Posted June 18, 2013 How did you go with a update? I am looking for a update on my HDBW3202 due to motion detect issues myself. Will try reseller tonight.. see if i get any replies.
snairb 0 Posted June 18, 2013 I have not received the new firmware yet. I did hear back from my vendor and they said it would not fix the motion issues and actually they did not recommend upgrading firmware yet.
everwake 0 Posted June 21, 2013 I installed General_IPC-HX3(2)XXX&SDXXXX_Eng_P_V2.210.0000.0.R.20130313 from the link earlier in this post on my 2100 bullets, they all came from different previous fw, one was even ntsc, worked without issue the main feature for me is customizable BLC, which is really helpful in some situations. salesguy 0 Posted June 21, 2013 I have several Dahua cameras that I'd like to update if possible, I have paged through many threads about firmware but haven't found newer versions than these. If anyone has info about newer firmware I'd love to know. NTSC 1. IPC-HFW3300C 2.100.0000.6.R, build : 2012-05-07 2. IPC-HDB3200C 2.103.0000.0.R, build : 2012-07-24 3. pelo666 0 Posted June 21, 2013 (edited) The firmware I uploaded above is for these cameras: HDB(W)3202,HFW3101C,HF3101,HFW3X00C,F728WP,HF3300,HDB(W)3300,HFW3300,HF3301, HF3500,HF3500A,HF3200,HDB3200C,HF3110,HDB(W)3110,HDB(W)3101,HFW3110,HF3100,HF3211-F, HDW2100,HD2100,HFW2100,HF2100,HFW3100,HDB3100C,HFW3(2)105(2100S),HDW3100S,HDW2105S, HDW3105S,HFW3200S,HFW3202C Its for PAL, but I suppose there are only differencies in resolution. HD resolutions are the same PAL/NTSC, only D1 and CIF are different (but why somebody buy HD cameras and operate them at D1?)... salesguy 0 Posted June 21, 2013 So with PAL i'd lose some FPS? Probably best to stick with the NTSC versions if someone has them thanks
