yozh 0 Posted September 5, 2014 Good news! With the help of HD Security Store, the vendor that sold me the Dahua camera, I was able to get the firmware updated. Here is what was needed: In the config tool, when you select your particular camera and select the "Login" button, you're presented with IP Address, User Name, Password, and Port. By default, the port is populated with 37777. Simply change this to 3800, and Voila! The firmware installs correctly. I don't know why this works. My camera itself has the TCP port set to 37777, but who cares why it works as long as it does. I now have the General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX_Eng_N_Stream3_V2.420.0000.0.R.20140419 firmware running on my cameras. Nice! If you order a Dahua on Amazon, be sure to choose HD Security Store as the seller. Their support makes it well worth it! Isnt that what iTuneDVR said above?

MaXX99 0 Posted September 9, 2014 Hello All, I have just received my Dahua rebrands and was wondering if anyone could help me to find the latest firmwares for them ? The types I have are : HDB3200CP HFW3300P I admit, I havn't struggled trough 40+ pages to find the latest versions, but it might be handy to either put a stiky post which is regulary updated, or to keep the first post up to date ? Currently my HDB3200CP's are running the following : Software Version2.420.0000.0.R, build : 2014-04-14 WEB Version3.2.1.183358 ONVIF Version2.4.1 In the meantime, I would be delighted to find the latest ones though ! Oh, I'm a Euro guy, so PAL would be preferred .... Thanks a lot ! MaXX

gogusrl 0 Posted September 19, 2014 I'm having some problems with this video phone door system : VTO6110B(outdoor) + VTO1210A-X(outdoor) => VTH1560B (indoor) VTH1560B is running V1.100.0000.0.R.20131224 VTO1210A-X is running 2013-04-26 V1.110.0.0 VTO6110B is running 2014-06-23 V1.000.0.0 and 2013-04-26 V1.110.0.0 No matter which one is the setup as the Main_VTO, the VTO1210A-X sound is garbled. I figure it's a codec problem that would be easily solved with a firmware upgrade but I can't find one for them.
Woper1 0 Posted September 26, 2014 Hi All, This is my first post on this website. I have a Dahua NVR3208V-P with Bios 2.610.000.6 build 2013-7-18 web: 2.3.7.2 net: 3.3.9.7930 playsdk: 3.32.0.7129 and I have problem with motion detection. I mean all working fine but I can't setup a sensitivity that mean I received a mail every few second. I wondering if I can do update to newer firmware and this problem will be resolved. What firmware I can try, I know there is a new one but I can't find where I can download it. Thanks for your help.
Rodrigo_V_U 0 Posted September 27, 2014 Hi there. My name is Rodrigo and I´m writing from Brazil. I have already read and learned a lot with you guys.... I'm changing all my analog setup to IP. I already have a hybrid DVR/NVR that will be used to record network images. I already have 3 Dahua HDW2100 (Dome). all of them updated to the last firmware 2.420.00000, build 2014-04-14. They are working fine. Today arrived two HFW2100S (Bullet). on their bodies it´s written HFW2100S-V2-0360B. They came with Firmware 2.212.0000.1.R build 2014-02-12. I'm having an issue that, no matter what I do, (Brazil time zone is GMT -3), after few minutes they change back to GMT +8 (China time?). ..... That happend with one of the domes, but when I updated it, it came back to real time. These two bullets simply do not accept any other firm upgrade... have already tryed 2.210, 2.211, 2.420 .... Does anybody have any idea and/or suggestion? Rgds, Rodrigo

JDVU 0 Posted October 7, 2014 Hallo, i've been in the forums as a passive member for quite a while and now i like to contribute some little information to this forum. I noticed that with the v2.4x baseline firmware releases the well known telnet access root/vizxv is gone For me as a linux guy i wasn't happy with it at all so i took some time to reverse enginieer the firmware of my HFW4200s camera. I manage to analyse the telnet authorization part in the firmware. The /etc/passwd is still the same so the old password should work as always but the engineers at dahua changed the authorization so this file is never read for login. First i was able to patch the busybox binary to accept any passwords but a couple of hours later i was able to enter a valid password. In fact the secret login/password consists of a valid user with administrator privileges to the web interface (e.g. admin) and a password with a 'secret' prefix. Long story short as in my case with login 'admin' and password 'admin' my telnet login is like this: login: admin password: 7ujMko0admin So the prefix '7ujMko0' is the important part here. Finally i'm able to telnet login to my cameras again Can any of you double check on that? Happy telnet login!
