bullngator 0 Posted November 29, 2012 I am looking to replace my 16 channel DVR due to a power failure and other performance issues and would like to seek input. My current setup has the DVR and 12v power supply inside a telco cabinet in a closet therefore I would like to be able to manage all aspects via remote software client. I currently have (6) Samsung SCV-2080R external dome cameras, along with an internal Vitek VTD-AR2812/1 dome, and would like to have the ability to add 2-4 more cameras (possibly IP/megapixel). Desired Features: Ability to record ~30fps @ D1 on all camerasSome type of watchdog to reset system if cameras stop recording (last DVR would freeze and stop recording).Ability to search per camera, time, etc and if possible search a designated area to detect change.Ability to mask out motion zones so motion in the defined area doesn't prompt recording.Iphone/browser remote viewing. Prior to posting I did some research on the site and saw good recommendations for dahua DVR's, but I was unable to ascertain the difference between their higher end units. Thanks in advance for help/recommendations. bullngator 0 Posted November 29, 2012 Good point. Fl - USA. Also, I would like the capability to have different user access levels particularly for online viewing (i.e. view only, and limit accessible cameras).. Thanks in advance for everyone input. -Brian
