SSITECH1 0 Posted December 4, 2012 I have a client that would like to add 4 panamorph IP cameras to their analog system. I would need a 4 channel DVR for this system. They will be using it to scan delivery trucks for damage as they enter and leave the facility. Any suggestions on the cameras or DVR? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hardwired 0 Posted December 4, 2012 I would suggest that type of lens/camera setup is inappropriate for that type of application: That type of lens spreads the field of view so wide that obtaining useful detail will be difficult (even with a wide view of a vehicle, you will still be limited by line of sight to a particular side of the vehicle). A few well positioned standard cameras (even if you need a few more at a narrower angle) should do what you want, at less cost. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
