RJ-11 video cables into RG-45 Baluns Help

Recommended Posts

So I have some cameras that use RJ-11 cables for video and power, but my monitor that receives the video and provides the power has died. I have a four channel multiplexor with BNC inputs. I found some BNC to RJ-45 video balun connector with power adapters which i bought with out realizing I had RJ-11 cables. I thought i could just "re-plug" the end of the cable with a cat6 plug, but the two wiring diagrams don't match as nicely as I had hoped. I don't need audio or PTZ, just video and power. Does anyone have any suggestions for matching the wires correctly?
