27901591 0 Posted December 8, 2012 Can any PLEASEEEEE help me with this... how do you make the auto scan work on a Honeywell vcl orbitor, I have a standalone h.264 DVR address 1 braud rate 2400 pelco D set on the DVR for one of the ptz cameras, the ptz functions works and also the presets work as well, I tried changing The baud rate to 9600 and few others but then even the presets or the normal ptz won't work. tomcctv 190 Posted December 8, 2012 Hi. It will depend on your dvr. Most now will control a PTA but only s few will allow you to store commands. If yours is control only then your other option is to also run a controller along with your dvr. This will give you problems if you use remote viewing and control of ptz. 27901591 0 Posted December 10, 2012 Thank you for the reply, so if i use a ptz controller i will be able to use the auto scan function (which is more priority than remote viewing)? im now using a samsung SHR-2042 which still wont allow me to use the auto scan.
