it8ezbngrn 0 Posted December 14, 2012 We had a power outage. Came home, no display. Power light on, fans on, HDD light off. Cannot remote in. No link light on NIC. Fear its dead. I've had it less than 24 hrs. I just set it up last night and I was using an "OK" APC surge protector. All other electronics in the electronics in the house work. Opened it up and no fuses. Looks like firmware is not booting. Any ideas? Opened a ticket w Lorex but they take daaaayyss to respond. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

TexTeacher 0 Posted November 11, 2014 Yes you are right, "you get what you paid for." I siting here waiting my turn for tech support. We too had a power outage. The red HDD light not blinking and I can't manually get into the menu after following all their trouble shooting steps. So how the heck am I going to format the HDD? Lorex products truly suck.
