0cean23 0 Posted December 23, 2012 Hi, I've been browsing around this forum and gathered some good information. I am ready to upgrade my current DVR surveillance to something better quality. My current setup is an Aposonic DVR with 4 channels. The cameras I am using are lower quality and I think they are 420 tvl. Recently I had someone steal a package from my home but I could not make the the details of the person. I would like to upgrade to something better. I've heard good things about Dahua DVR? Below is a list of my budget, and things I would like for my setup. $700-$900 DVR with 8 channels higher quality camera for both day and night Audio is not required Wired setup or both options for wired and wireless 1TB Apple Mac, iPhone and iPad compatible What's the difference between IP analog surveillance? I was browsing a website that sells both setup and the resolution for the IP cameras are much higher? Does that mean IP cameras are better in quality?
