kandcorp 0 Posted November 3, 2005 Well its not really if one is better than the other There are just different modes for different parts of the world. US and Japan use NTSC. China Europe PAL...etc. So if in FLA I would probably say..Use an NTSC camera. The PAL mode cam may work but you may run into problems like, black and white picture and screwed up lines going across the screen.
VST_Man 1 Posted November 3, 2005 by design pal has a larger bandwidth, therefore a better pic due to MORE resolution/definition. BUT, if your eye can see it and pick it out of a line up you are perfect. The eye most likely will not see the difference. Bottom line, both are of a standard that produces the best pic available based on technology. Yes the standard could be 100% HDTV across the US but how would someone on a fixed budget afford the high price of connecting/owning. Availibility and supply demand is the key here. If you go with PAL in the US your are adding problems from the start since EVERYTHING here is NTSC. The who is better don't matter as long as it works well and looks great. now with vodka, there is adifference worth buying.......
