PELCO ICS300-CRV3A connection

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a problem with power connection (DC) to Pelco ICS300-CRV3A cameras. In camera's manual I don't found any information about power wires. Only found that these cameras supports 24VAC and 12VDC. But which wires for DC power connection ?

The wires:

Red

Black

Blue & Blue/White

Brown & Brown/White

Green & Green/White

I try to connect RED wire as + and BLACK as - , but it doesn't work.

Please help!

What power supply are you using (Model / Series)?

"The ICS300 Series can be equipped with three options. The ICS300-

AP adapter plate allows adaption to a 2 gang electrical box, the

ICS300-SS sun shroud helps shield the unit from sun in outdoor

applications, and the ICS300-COND allows the unit to be used in

applications requiring conduit. All models are designed for either 12 VDC or 24 VAC operation. Each

unit is provided with two quick-connect mating connectors with leads;

one for 12 VDC and one for 24 VAC. Just select the appropriate

connector for your application, wire the leads to your power source

with wing nuts, and snap the connectors together – it’s that simple!"

Hello! I use the 12VDC power supply, not original (not Pelco's).

I found the solution. For ICS300 series the BLACK is - and WHITE/BROWN is +. Thank you anyway for your help! Even integrated heater in camera starts good, the proof in attachment:) PS: in Siberia now -40C
