Dome camera to add to Defender 21013 8 Channel

I recently purchased and installed a Defender 21031 8- camera system. While not blown away by the quality, it does serve the purpose and for the price I got what I paid for. On the DVR it has the two wire connections for a PTZ camera and I am interested in adding one to cover a large front yard area with approachng driveway. I have been reading on here and searching but have not found anything that seems like it will work.

 

So far I have installed all of the cameras from this system where they are not visible when approaching the house and would rather not hang one of them in the open which is why i am looking for a dome camera, preferably in a beige color to match the trim but also compatible with the Defender. Due to the large area and desire to have very detailed video and images in this area I am leaning towards a PTZ.

 

Any recommendations or suggestions are appreciated.

 

Are the Sony Effio domes decent? Are the DCS70 cameras worth the increase over the E700Gs? Will these work with a Defender DVR?
