GrouchoBoucho 0 Posted January 21, 2013 there are basically three ways to do it: 1. you need a test monitor that supports ip cameras (axis makes one, for example, but it only works with axis cameras) 2. you need an ip-to-analog video decoder. most will only work with their own brand of cameras though (again, axis has one that only works with axis cameras). 3. you need a camera with an analog output port. this is most likely how you've "seen it done". some (maybe half?) ip cameras have this feature, but not all.
