Looking to buy New Camera System

Recommended Posts

HI Everybody,

I am new here and this is my first post.

I am looking for CCTV camera system for my warehouse and office area. Its 100 X 40 Feet. Please see the attached design.

warehouse camera must cover the all floor space and keeping close eye on material sorting table is very important. The ceiling height of warehouse is 22 feet.

The warehouse cameras are to keep an eye on employees that nobody is stealing the products from warehouse. Please suggest what kind of cameras are recommended. My budget for Camera DVR and other accessories, cables is $2000 Max. I will need 10 to 14 days of recording space. External Camera will be working in Michigan Detroit area. They must be able to survive cold weather and snow.

Thanks Guys,

Hi there:

The best camera solution, in my opinion, is Mobotix.

My wild guess at a complete install and setup of a Mobotix Q24 camera if you were in our area, would be between $2000 and $2500 but this would be your best solution.

If you have a fairly powerful computer to use as an NVR then you could install a Geovision FE110 with a ceiling mount. They are a little less expensive than the Mobotix brand cameras but you need a computer to run the NVR software. Total install cost (again, if you were around here) would be $1500-$2000 if we use your computer. Add the cost of a good compter otherwise.

Shop around for local security companies but, in my opinion, anyone who tries to sell you an analog system with DVR and so on is doing you no service. One digital IP camera can do your whole room without a problem. Remember. Digital. IP. Hemispheric.

Good luck.
