loop 0 Posted November 8, 2005 I'm looking for a ip based video conferencing solution similar to the SONY PCS-1, but with a better price tag. http://bssc.sel.sony.com/BroadcastandBusiness/markets/10010/keyproduct_PCS-1.shtml Application is remote patient treatment, so video must be encrypted for privacy. Otherwise I would use a good ptz ip camera. A PC based solution is also possible if anyone has any idea. Thanks.

cctv_down_under 0 Posted November 14, 2005 Do you need the cam to be able to move? If not why not a simple MPEG2 webserver, the reason that I suggest MPEG2 is that MPEG2 encodes the video and audio into one stream and therefore has not latency, you could use the alarm input on the webserver to activate to a decoder box when button is pushed.
