IseeU2 0 Posted January 28, 2013 I am working on an instillation that has the DVR and monitor at one end of the house. I want to add a 7” LCD monitor next to the front door at the opposite end of the house. This 7” monitor is switchable between 2 inputs, the door camera and the porch camera. For my initial tests I “T”ed into the video off the porch camera and notice degradation in recorded video, live doesn’t look like it lost any. I am assuming that I am pulling the video signal down with the 7” monitor. What can I do to keep the quality to the DVR ?
aibudo 0 Posted January 29, 2013 If you just used a "T", I would replace that with a powered video distribution amp.

aibudo 0 Posted January 29, 2013 Looks like that that would work just fine. Dennis
