conversion of dB value to dB(A)? (for sound applications)

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

This question may not relate to forum but I hope there are some geniuses who can advice on this,

1. conversion of dB value to dBA value, for ex: 100dB =_____dB(A)?

2. I am using a loudspeaker for PAGING apps. I have following specs -

Rated Power 110dB

Freq - 250 to 7000Hz

I want to know the coverage distance 'd' (in mtrs) the sound signal can reach in presence of 60dB noise in that area. Loudspeaker is installed in open area like at some road for making annoucements.

Please advice with formula.
